Have you been trying to login to the Huawei HG635 TalkTalk router unsuccessfully? It might be time to consider a reset. This is not a reboot. When you reboot a router you are cycling the power to the unit. When you reset a router you take all the settings and turn them all back to how they were when they left the factory.
Warning: Be careful when you reset. Make sure you realize all the settings that may be changed by your actions. Some of the settings that are changed are:
- The router's main username and password.
- The Internet name and password.
- Is this a DSL router? If so you need to re-enter the Internet Service Provider (ISP) username and password. Call your local ISP for the details.
- Have you made any other changes to this device? How about port forwards or IP address changes? These need to be reconfigured as well.

Make sure your router is powered on.
Take a sharp object such as a straightened paperclip and press down on the reset button for about 10 seconds. This starts the reset process. If you don't hold the button down long enough you might end up only rebooting the router instead of resetting it like you wanted.
Remember a reset like this one is going to erase every setting you have ever changed. We strongly recommend trying other troubleshooting methods before deciding to reset.
