Have you tried to login to the Konig CMP-ROUTER10 router without success? It might be time to consider a factory reset.
There is a lot of confusion between a reset and a reboot. On this page when I refer to a reset I am not referring to a reboot. A reboot is a cycle in the power to the unit. A reset is a way of taking all the settings and returning them to the original factory defaults.
Warning: Resetting the Konig CMP-ROUTER10 router has consequences. We strongly recommend making a list of all the settings that you may of changed in the past. These include:
- The router's main username and password.
- Any port forwarding you have done.
- IP addresses you have changed.
- Any other configurations you have made need to written down as well.

Reset the KONIG CMP ROUTER10
Below is an image of the back panel of the Konig CMP-ROUTER10 router. Take note of where the reset button is located.
While the router is on take a straightened paperclip and press down on the reset button for about 10 seconds. If you don't hold the reset button down for the entire amount of time you may end up only rebooting the router instead of resetting like you wanted.
Warning: Do not unplug or turn off the router during the reset process. Doing so could result in permanent damage to the router.
Please remember this reset is going to erase every single setting you have ever changed. We strongly recommend trying other troubleshooting options first.
Login to the KONIG CMP ROUTER10
Now is the time to log back into the Konig CMP-ROUTER10 router to see if the reset worked. To do this you will need to use the default values. I have found these for you and included them in our Konig CMP-ROUTER10 Login Guide.
Tip: Did the defaults not work? It might be that you have not held the reset button down long enough. Try again but hold the reset button down for longer.
