Use the SSID box to enter a new name for your network. While this name can be anything you like, we recommend avoiding personal information. To learn more about this topic, read our Wireless Names Guide.

Next is the Channel. Make sure to use channels 1,6, or 11. Learn why this is important in our WiFi Channels Guide.

Below that is the Wireless Security. To change the security settings, you need to tick the button labeled Edit Security Settings. We recommend the security standard of WPA2 PSK. This router does not offer this. We recommend updating your firmware to allow for this. Learn why in our WEP vs. WPA guide.

When you are finished, click the Save Settings button.
