Find the WiFi Settings on the Netgear CG3100 VOO

We begin this guide on the Home page of the Netgear CG3100 VOO router. You should be on the correct page to change your security settings. If you find you are not on the page you see above, click Main functionalities in the left sidebar.
Change the WiFi Settings on the Netgear CG3100 VOO
Start out by setting an SSID. This will serve as your network identification and can be whatever you like. However we highly recommend avoiding any personal information due to security reasons. To learn more be sure to visit our Wireless Names Guide.
Next open the drop down list marked Channel and set it to either 1, 6, or 11. Why are these the best options? Read our WiFi Channels Guide to find out.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
