Find Your Netgear D6000 Router IP Address
In order to login to the Netgear D6000 router, we need to know it's internal IP address.

Pick one of these IP addresses and then follow the rest of this guide.
If later on in this guide you do not find your router using the IP address that you pick, then you can try different IP addresses until you get logged in. It should be completely harmless to try different IP addresses.

Once you have the internal IP Address of your router, you can log in to it.
Login to the Netgear D6000 Router
Your Netgear D6000 is managed through a web-based interface. You can manage it by using a web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
Enter Netgear D6000 Internal IP Address
Either copy/paste or type the internal IP address of your Netgear D6000 router into the address bar of your web browser. Your address bar should look something like this:
Press the Enter key on your keyboard. You should see a window pop up asking you for your Netgear D6000 password.
Netgear D6000 Default Username and Password
You need to know your username and password to login to your Netgear D6000. Just in case the router's username and password have never been changed, you may want to try the factory defaults. Here is a list of all known factory default usernames and passwords for the Netgear D6000 router.

In the window that pops up, enter your username and password. You can try them all.

If you cannot get logged in to your router, here a few possible solutions you can try.
Netgear D6000 Password Doesn't Work
Perhaps your router's default password is different than what we have listed here. Start by trying all of the other known Netgear passwords. Head over to our list of all Netgear Passwords.

If you are using an ISP provided router, then you may need to call their support desk and ask for your login information. Most of the time they will have it on file for you.
