Find Your Netgear R6220 Router IP Address

The first thing that we need to know in order to login to the Netgear R6220 router is it's internal IP address.

Choose an IP address from the list above and then follow the rest of this guide.

If later on in this guide you do not find your router using the IP address that you pick, then you can try different IP addresses until you get logged in. I will not hurt anything to try different IP addresses.

Login to the Netgear R6220 Router

Your Netgear R6220 is managed through a web-based interface. In order to log in to it, you need to use a web browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

Enter Netgear R6220 Internal IP Address

Put the internal IP Address of your Netgear R6220 in the address bar of your web browser. Your address bar should look something like this:

Press the Enter key on your keyboard. You will be prompted for your Netgear R6220 password.

You must know your Netgear R6220 username and password in order to log in. Just in case the router's username and password have never been changed, you may want to try the factory defaults. Here is a list of all known factory default usernames and passwords for the Netgear R6220 router.
