Login To The Netgear WNHDE111

Find the WiFi Settings on the Netgear WNHDE111

This guide starts on the Setup Wizard page of the Netgear WNHDE111. To setup the WiFi for this router, click the option in the left sidebar labeled Wireless Settings under the heading of Setup.
Change the WiFi Settings on the Netgear WNHDE111
This takes you to the Wireless Settings page of the Netgear WNHDE111.
The first setting that needs to be changed is the Wireless Network Name. This is the network ID or SSID and should be changed to something you choose. It's not very important what you enter here but don't use personal information.
A little farther down the page is a drop down box labeled Wireless Channel. To change your channel you need to uncheck the box labeled Enable Auto Channel Scan. Then in the channel drop down list the channel you want to use.
Below that is the WPA Mode. For the best results we recommend using WPA-Personal.
After that you need to choose which WPA Mode to use. For the maximum security, choose the option of WPA2.
Set the Cipher Type to AES.
Finally you need to change the Passphrase. This is the password you use to access your network. Use at least 14-20 characters and at least one symbol, number, and capital letter.
You did it, finish by clicking the Apply button to save your changes.
Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
