This is the reset guide for the Netvigator 30M router. A router reset is a much bigger deal than a router reboot. Unplugging a router from the wall reboots it. This is very different from a reset, which erases a router completely and returns it to factory default settings.
Warning: Make sure that you fully understand the following before resetting your router. When you reset your router, the following will happen.
- The router's login credentials are reset.
- Your WiFi login, password, and network name are reset.
- All ISP settings will reset to default, and you may have to contact your ISP.
- Any firewall settings, parental controls, or port forwards that you have configured will be removed.
Resetting your router should be considered the last step. You should be sure that you have tried to at least recover your router password using our Router Password Finder before resorting to a router reset.

Reset the Netvigator 30M
Most of the time you can find a small reset button located on either the back or the bottom of a router. What you are looking for is something that looks like this:
Your reset button may look different, but usually they are very small. If you find a pinhole on the back of the router then that may be the reset button. You will need a paper clip to push it.
Watch the front panel lights while you hold the reset button down for at least 10 seconds. The blinking pattern of the lights on the front of the router should change when the reset is complete. Do not worry about holding the button down too long; this is harmless.
Keep in mind that this will completely reset your Netvigator 30M router.
Only take this last step of fully resetting your router after you have exhausted all other troubleshooting options, such as running our Router Password Finder software, which can recover a lost router password for you.
Login to the Netvigator 30M
After you are finished resetting your router, you need to login in using the original factory username and password. You can follow the 30M Login Guide to find everything that you need to log in.
Change Your Password
