This guide shows you how to reset your Pace Plc 5031NV-030 router. This is not the same thing as rebooting a router. Turning a router off and back on again causes a reboot. However, when you reset a router you, return it back to its factory default settings.
Warning: Make sure that you fully understand the following before resetting your router. A router reset will affect the following settings:
- The router's login and password are reset to factory defaults.
- All WiFi login information and network names are reset.
- Your ISP username and password will be reset, and you may have to contact your ISP.
- Any port forwards, firewall settings, or parental controls that you have configured will be removed.

On most routers you can find a small button on the back or the bottom labeled reset. Look at your router and try to find something that looks like this:
Even though yours may look slightly different, you need to look for a tiny button. You may need a paper clip to push the reset button.
Keep an eye on the lights on the front of your router while holding the reset button down for about 10 seconds. After a few seconds the lights should blink differently. When this happens, the reset is complete. Keep holding the button as long as you want, it will not hurt anything to hold it down too long.
Just don't forget that this will totally reset your Pace Plc 5031NV-030 router.
