Reset the SmartRG SR350N Clear Access

If you need to reset your SmartRG SR350N Clear Access router back to factory settings, then this article shows you how. This is not the same thing as rebooting a router. Rebooting a router is simply turning it off and back on again. However, when you reset a router you, return it back to its factory default settings.

Warning: Before you proceed, there are a few things you need to know. When you reset your router, the following will happen.

  • The router's username and password are reset.
  • Your WiFi name and password are reset.
  • Your ISP settings are reset, which means you will have to contact your ISP to get them back.
  • Any port forwards, firewall settings, or parental controls that you have configured will be removed.

A router reset should be considered the last resort when you cannot log in to your router any other way. Make sure that you have tried to recover your router password using our Router Password Finder first.

Reset the SmartRG SR350N Clear Access

On most routers you can find a small button on the back or the bottom labeled reset. Look for something that looks like this:

Your reset button may look different, but usually they are very small. You might find a pinhole on the back of the router that requires a paper clip to push the button hidden under it.

Watch the front panel lights while you hold the reset button down for at least 10 seconds. The blinking pattern of the lights on the front of the router should change when the reset is complete. It is harmless to hold the reset button too long.

Don't forget, this step will totally reset your SmartRG SR350N Clear Access router back to factory settings.

Login to the SmartRG SR350N Clear Access

Change Your Password

Tip: Write your new password down on a post-it note and stick it to the bottom of your router.
