If you need to reset your TP-Link Archer MR200 v2 router back to factory settings, then this article shows you how. This is not the same thing as rebooting a router. Unplugging a router from the wall reboots it. However, when you reset a router you, return it back to its factory default settings.
Warning: Make sure that you fully understand the following before resetting your router. The following settings in your router will be changed:
- The router's login and password are reset to factory defaults.
- All WiFi information such as network name, password, and authentication method are erased.
- Your ISP username and password will be reset, and you may have to contact your ISP.
- Any firewall settings, parental controls, and port forwards that you have configured will be removed.
A router reset should be considered the last resort when you cannot log in to your router any other way. Before you reset your router, you may want to try recovering your router password with our Router Password Finder.

A router reset should be the last thing you try if you are unable to login.
Reset the TP-Link Archer MR200 v2
You can usually find a small reset button on either the back or the bottom of a router. What you are looking for is something that looks like this:
Your reset button may look different, but usually they are very small. Sometimes the reset button is under a pinhole on the back of the router, and you need a paper clip to push it.
Watch the lights on the front of your router and hold the reset button down for about 10 seconds. After a few seconds the lights should blink differently. When this happens, the reset is complete. Do not worry about holding the button down too long; this is harmless.
Just don't forget that this will totally reset your TP-Link Archer MR200 v2 router.
