On this page the first thing you will want to do is change the Wireless Network Name. This is the name you give your network so you can identify it. It's not that important what you enter here but we suggest avoiding personal information as a security precaution. Learn more in this guide.
If you need to change your channel, go ahead and do so with the Channel drop-down list. We just ask that you use channels 1,6, or 11. Find out why in this guide.
Don't make any other changes on this page, simply click the Save button before continuing.
Now go back to the left sidebar and select the option of Wireless Security.

You should now be on the page you see above. First, click the radio button labeled WPA/WPA2 - Personal(Recommended). This is near the bottom of the page.
Below that is the Version. We recommend setting this to WPA2-PSK. This is the best security available right now. To learn more read this guide.
Go ahead and set the Encryption to AES.
Finally you need to set the PSK Password. This is the internet password. Be creative and make this password strong. We recommend at least 14 characters. We have lots of ideas for you in this guide.
That's it, nothing else needs to be changed. Just click the Save button.
