Here's how to log in to an Ubiquiti router.
Step 1: Connect
Connect to the router's WiFi or plug a computer into one of its LAN ports with a network cable.
Step 2: Open the Login Page
Type http://192.168.1.1 into your browser's address bar. Some models use a different address. See the Ubiquiti IP address page.
Step 3: Sign In
- ubnt / ubnt: EdgeRouter and airMAX devices (older firmware).
- UniFi gateways: the account you created in the UniFi Network app or controller.
- AmpliFi: the password you set up in the AmpliFi app.
- ubnt / the password you set: newer airMAX firmware asks you to set one at first login.
EdgeRouters use https://192.168.1.1. For the first login, plug your computer into eth0 and give it a fixed address such as 192.168.1.10, because EdgeRouters don't hand out addresses on eth0 by default.
See every known default on the Ubiquiti passwords page.
Ubiquiti Login Problems
The page won't load. Check that you're connected to the Ubiquiti router (not a second router or extender), and run ipconfig to see its real address.
The password is rejected. Try each default above and the password on the label. If nothing works, reset the router.
