WiFi Terms
Before we get started there is a little bit of background info that you should be familiar with.
Wireless Name
Your wireless network needs to have a name to uniquely identify it from other wireless networks. If you are not sure what this means we have a guide explaining what a wireless name is that you can read for more information.

An important part of securing your wireless network is choosing a strong password.

Encryption

Login To The ZTE MF90
To get started configuring the ZTE MF90 WiFi settings you need to login to your router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Find the WiFi Settings on the ZTE MF90
If you followed our login guide above then you should see this screen.

This wireless setup guide begins on the Home page of the ZTE MF90 router. To start off, click Setting in the upper right hand side of the page. From there, click Wi-Fi Settings in the left hand sidebar and then Basic Settings below that.
Change the WiFi Settings on the ZTE MF90

You should be taken to the page you see above.
Begin by setting a Network Name (SSID). This can be anything you like, however we highly recommend avoiding any sort of personal information due to security reasons. To learn more, take a look at our Wireless Names Guide.
Now open the drop down menu labeled Security Mode and choose WPA2(AES)-PSK. To learn why this will provide you with the strongest security, see our WEP vs. WPA Guide.
After that, you'll need to set a Pass Phrase. This can be anything you like, however we recommend keeping it 14-20 characters long and avoiding all personal information. For more helpful tips like these, check out our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.
That's all there is to it. Just be sure to click Apply before leaving the page.
Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
