How to Reset the A-Link RR84AP

In this guide we show you how to reset your A-Link RR84AP router to it's original factory defaults. It's important to note that resetting the router is not the same as rebooting it. Rebooting refers to turning it off and back on again. Resetting is more complex because it erases all of your configurations and it reverts to the factory defaults.

Warning: Resetting the router should not be done until you have tried other ways of fixing the problem you are having. Everything you have done to this router is erased and reset including:

  • The router's main username and password
  • The Internet SSID/username and password
  • The ISP username and password (you will need to contact your ISP for this information)
  • Any configurations you have made to this router such as firewalls or port forwards.
