How to Reset the Atlantis Land A02-RA243-W54M

In this guide I will show you how to reset the Atlantis-Land A02-RA243-W54M router to factory defaults. There is a lot of confusion between resetting a router and rebooting a router. Rebooting a router is simply a way of cycling the power by turning it off and back on again. Resetting a router is taking all the settings in the interface and returning them to factory settings.

Warning: Don't reset this Atlantis-Land A02-RA243-W54M router unless you know what will be changed. We suggest making a list of the settings you know will be affected. Please consider the following:

  • The router's web interface username and password are returned to factory defaults.
  • The WiFi username and password are returned to default.
  • IF you use a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP username and password so you aren't disconnected from the Internet. Call your ISP if you don't know the these details.
  • All configurations such as port forwards, DNS address changes, and IP address changes are erased and reverted to default values.

So you have created a list of settings that will change after the reset is complete. Now go to your router and make sure it is on for the reset. Do not unplug or turn off the router at any point during the reset process as this could permanently damage the router.

Now take a look at the back side of your device and locate the tiny recessed button labeled reset. We have it circled for you in the image below.

Using the tip of a pencil or pen press and hold down the reset button until all the lights on the front of the device flash. This could be as much as 15 seconds.

Remember this erases all configurations made to this device. Pleas use caution and try other troubleshooting methods before you continue.

Change Your Password
