This page will show you how to setup a port forward on the Bandluxe R100 router.

Configure your Computer to Have a Static IP Address

Port forwarding the Bandluxe R100 to your computer can be more reliable if you first configure a static IP address on your computer. We have instructions to setup a static IP address for Windows 7, Windows 8, and a variety of other devices on our Static IP Address Settings page.

Please note that while setting up a static IP address on your computer is optional, it is still a very good idea to go ahead and do it. In the long run it will make your port forward much more reliable.

Login To The Bandluxe R100

To get started forwarding a port you need to login to your Bandluxe R100 router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Forward a Port on the Bandluxe R100 router

Find The Port Forwarding Section of the Bandluxe R100

This guide begins on the Basic Setting page of the Bandluxe R100 router. To forward a port, click the option at the top of the page labeled Security.

At this point, you have an option of clicking the link titled Single Port Forward, or Port Range Forward.

Configure the Port Forwarding section of your Bandluxe R100

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

To Forward a Single Port:

  • Click the link near the top of the page labeled Single Port Forward.
  • In the first row of empty boxes, enter the program name or something similar in the box reading Application Name.
  • Enter the one port number in both the External Port box and the Internal Port box.
  • Next is the Protocol drop down menu, choose the type of protocol you want to use when forwarding this port.
  • In the To IP address box, enter the LAN IP address of the device you are forwarding this port to. For instance, if you are forwarding a port to run a program on your PC, be sure to use that PC's LAN IP Address.
  • Click the Enable box.
  • Finally, tick the blue button at the bottom of the page labeled Save Settings.

To Forward a Range of Ports:

  • Tick the link near the top of the page labeled Port Range Forward.
  • Using the Application Name box, enter the name of the program you are forwarding these ports for, this is for your reference only, but should remind you of why you are forwarding these ports.
  • Next is the Start ~ End Port boxes. Enter the lowest number of the port range in the left box under Start. Enter the highest number in the range in the right End Port box.
  • In the Protocol drop down menu, pick the type of protocol or transport you want to use when forwarding these ports.
  • Then, in the To IP address box, enter the local IP Address of the computer or device you are forwarding these ports to.
  • Click the Enable box on the far right
  • Finally, click the blue Save Settings button at the bottom of the page.

That's it, you're done!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports on the Bandluxe R100 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
