This guide covers how to reset the Beetel 110BX1 router. It needs to be noted that resetting a router is not the same as rebooting or refreshing a router. To reboot simply means to cycle the power by turning it off and then on again. When you reset a router all the settings are returned to factory default.

Warning: Be careful when you reset this router. Problems occur when you don't know what settings have been changed. We recommend creating a list of the settings you know about. Consider the following:

  • If you use DSL for your Internet you need to re-enter the ISP username and password when you reset this router.
  • After this reset the router's interface username and password are returned to factory settings.
  • Once this reset is complete the WiFi information is returned to default values.
  • All settings you have changed in the past are erased. This could include port forwards, IP address changes, or maybe even parental controls.
