Configure your Computer to Have a Static IP Address

Login To The Belkin F5D7633-4

Forward a Port on the Belkin F5D7633-4 router

Find The Port Forwarding Section of the Belkin F5D7633-4

After you have logged into the Belkin F5D7633-4 you should be taken to the Status page. On the left side of this page is a list of links, click the one labeled Virtual Servers, this is just under Firewall.

Configure the Port Forwarding section of your Belkin F5D7633-4

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

You are now on a page like the one you see above. On the first empty line place a check in the Enable button.

In the Description box, enter the name of the program or something similar which will help you remember why you are forwarding these ports.

Next to this is the Inbound Port. If you are forwarding a single port you need to enter this number into both of the boxes of Inbound Port. Enter them into both boxes under Private Port also. If you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the lowest number of the range in the left box of both Inbound Port and Private Port. Enter the highest number of the range in the right box of both of these Inbound Port and Private Port.

Under the drop down menu called Type pick the type of protocol you are going to use when forwarding these ports.

Now we have the Private IP Address, enter the IP address you are forwarding these ports to in this box. For example, if you are forwarding ports to run a program on your computer, then be sure and use that computer's IP address.

Once you have completed these steps, click the Add button at the top of the page, then Apply Changes close to the bottom of the page.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports on the Belkin F5D7633-4 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
