Configure your Computer to Have a Static IP Address

Port forwarding the Billion Bipac 7300G RA to your computer can be more reliable if you first configure a static IP address on your computer. We have instructions to setup a static IP address for Windows 7, Windows 8, and a variety of other devices on our Static IP Address Settings page.

Please note that while setting up a static IP address on your computer is optional, it is still a very good idea to go ahead and do it. In the long run it will make your port forward much more reliable.

Login To The Billion Bipac 7300G RA

To get started forwarding a port you need to login to your Billion Bipac 7300G RA router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Forward a Port on the Billion Bipac 7300G RA router

Find The Port Forwarding Section of the Billion Bipac 7300G RA

When you first log into the Billion BiPAC-7300G-RA you are taken to the Status screen. From here, click the link on the left labeled Configuration. This action makes a new sub menu appear, from this menu choose Virtual Server, then Port Mapping.

Configure the Port Forwarding section of your Billion Bipac 7300G RA

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

You should now be on a page like the one you see above. The first box is Application. Enter the program name you are forwarding ports for in this box. You can really enter anything you like in this box, but we recommend that you enter something that is going to help you remember why you forwarded these ports in the future.

Going down the page, the next box is Protocol, use this drop down menu to choose the type of protocol you are going to use when forwarding these ports.

To the right is External Port. If you are planning on forwarding only one port, enter that port number in both of the boxes labeled External Port and the box next to Internal Port. If you are forwarding a range of ports enter the lowest number in the range in the left box of External Port and the highest number of the range in the right box of External Port. In the box labeled Internal Port enter the ports with lowest number first, a dash, and the highest number like 20-24 as an example.

In the box labeled Internal IP address you can either manually enter the IP address you are forwarding ports to or you can use the drop down menu to choose the IP address you are forwarding these ports to.

Click the Add button when you are done.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports on the Billion Bipac 7300G RA you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
