This page will show you how to setup a port forward on the Billion Bipac 7404VNOX router.

Use a VPN Instead

Forward a Port on the Billion Bipac 7404VNOX router

Find The Port Forwarding Section of the Billion Bipac 7404VNOX

You have already logged into the Billion BiPAC-7404VNOX and are on the Device Information page. On the left there is a blue bar with some choices, pick the one labeled Configuration.

This opens a new set of choices, pick the one labeled Virtual Server, then below that, Port Forwarding.

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

On this new page, like the one you see here, enter the name of the program in the box labeled Application. It is not really crucial what you enter here. We suggest entering something that is going to help you remember why you are forwarding these ports.

Next is the Protocol drop down menu. Use this menu to choose whether you wish to use TCP, UDP, or both when forwarding the ports.

When you are forwarding a single port, enter that port number into the boxes labeled from and to next to External Port and Redirect Port. When you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the lowest number of the range in to both of the from boxes and the highest number into both the to boxes.

In the box labeled Internal IP Address enter the IP address you want these ports to be forwarded to, for instance, if you are forwarding a port to run a program on your computer, make sure to use that computer's IP address.

The Time Schedule can be left at Always On.

When you have finished making all the changes you want to, click Add. Then at the bottom of the page, click Save Config.

That's it, you're finished!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports on the Billion Bipac 7404VNOX you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
