On this page I will be showing you how to reset the Digisol DG-BG4100NU router back to factory defaults. This is not the same thing as a reboot. When you reboot a router you cycle the power to the device. When you reset a router you end take all the settings and return every one of them back to factory defaults.

Warning: Resetting this router can be a problem if you don't understand what a reset will do. We suggest creating a list of these setting that will change. Consider the following:

  • The router's main username and password are reverted back to original factory settings.
  • The Internet name and password are also reverted to factory defaults.
  • If you use a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP or Internet Service Provider's username and password to continue using the Internet. Call your local ISP for more details.
  • Have you made any other changes to this router? They need to be written down so you can reconfigure them later.
