Setup WiFi on the Digisol DG-BR4015N

The Digisol DG-BR4015N router is considered a wireless router because it offers WiFi connectivity. WiFi, or simply wireless, allows you to connect various devices to your router, such as wireless printers, smart televisions, and WiFi enabled smartphones.

Use a VPN Instead

Login To The Digisol DG-BR4015N

This wireless setup guide begins on the Home page of the Digisol DG-BR4015N router. To start out, click Wireless on the left hand side of the page, and then Basic.

Change the WiFi Settings on the Digisol DG-BR4015N

This should take you to a new page.

On this new page you'll set a Network Name(SSID). This can be whatever you like, however we recommend avoiding any sort of personal information. To learn more, see our Wireless Names Guide.

Don't forget to Apply your settings before moving on.

Now click Wireless Security located in the left hand sidebar.

You should be taken to the page you see above.

Start by opening the drop down list marked SSID choice. Set this to the SSID you just created.

Now, be sure that the Security Mode is set to WPA2-PSK. This will provide you with the strongest security. Why? Read our WEP vs. WPA Guide to find out.

After that, set the WPA Algorithms to AES.

Now you need to set a Pass Phrase. This can be anything you like, however we recommend keeping it 14-20 characters long and avoiding any personal information. For more helpful tips, check out our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.

Congratulations! You're done. Just be sure to click Apply before closing the page.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
