On this page I will be explaining how to reset the Digisol DG-BR4015N router back to it's original factory defaults. This is not the same thing as a reboot. When you want to reboot a router you are wanting to cycle the power to the device. This will solve most minor behavioral problems your router may be experiencing. If you want to reset your router you want to take all the settings and return every one of them back to factory defaults.

Warning: This reset is a serious step. Make sure you have considered the ramifications of this. Consider the following before continuing:

  • If this is a DSL router you will need to re-enter the ISP or Internet Service Provider's information such as username and password. Call your ISP for more details on this.
  • The router's main setup username and password are reverted to factory settings.
  • The Internet information such as name/SSID and password are reverted to factory default values.
  • Have you ever made any other changes to your router? These are reverted as well and need your attention after the reset is complete.
