On this page I will be showing you how to reset the Dlink DP-G301 print server back to factory defaults. This is not the same thing as a reboot. When I reboot a device I cycle the power to the device. When I reset a device I take all the settings and return them to factory defaults. This means every single setting you have ever changed and erased and put back to how it was from the factory.
Warning: Resetting this print server will erase every setting you have ever changed in the past.

Reset the Dlink DP-G301
This print server has no physical reset button. To reset this device you need to access the user interface. This is done by entering the IP address in the address bar at the top of the page. If you don't know what your print server's IP address is use our free router detector software to help you find it.
Once that is done you should see the page down below.
Once you get to the home page, click the tab at the top of the page labeled Tools. This takes you to the page below.
On this page there are two resets. The top one is a reboot only. To reset to factory defaults click the green Apply button under Factory Reset.
Login to the Dlink DP-G301
Now that you've reset your Dlink DP-G301 print server you'll need to log into it. This is accomplished by using the factory default username and password. Not sure where to find these? We have them listed for you in our Login Guide.
Change Your Password
There is no password to create for this print server so you can skip this step.
The last thing you need to do is start re-configuring the print server back to the way you want it.
