Change the WiFi Settings on the Edimax BR-6216Mg

That's all there is on this page, go ahead and click the Apply button. Then, look in the left sidebar and click the option of Security Settings.

The first setting you need to change is the Encryption. There are several options here. We recommend choosing the option of WPA pre-shared key. Read more by clicking this link.

After that is the WPA Unicast Cipher Suite. This is just narrowing down the option you chose above. We recommend choosing WPA2(AES).

Next is the Pre-shared Key Format. Select Passphrase.

Finally is the Pre-shared Key. This is the password you use to gain access to your network. You need to use as many letters as possible. We recommend at least 14 characters. Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
