If you are having trouble accessing the Eminent EM4450 router you may need to reset it back to factory defaults. A reset is not a reboot. When you reboot a router you cycle the power to the unit. When you reset a router you take all the settings and return them all to factory defaults.

Warning: This router reset is a big step and should not be taken lightly. We recommend making a list of any settings you may of changed in the past such as:

  • The router's main username and password.
  • The Internet name and password.
  • If this is a DSL router you need to re-enter the ISP (Internet Service Provider) username and password. Call your ISP for the details.
  • Any other changes such as the DNS servers, port forwards, or IP addresses need to written down so you can reconfigure them later.
