An important part of securing your wireless network is choosing a strong password.
Wireless Channel
Picking a WiFi channel is not always a simple task. Be sure to read about WiFi channels before making the choice.
Encryption
You should almost definitely pick WPA2 for your networks encryption. If you are unsure, be sure to read our WEP vs WPA guide first.
Login To The Flextronics DNA A211 I

Find the WiFi Settings on the Flextronics DNA A211 I
If you followed our login guide above then you should see this screen.
This is the Device Info page of the Flextronics DNA-A211-I. From here, click the link in the left sidebar labeled Wireless. This opens up a new set of links, click the one titled Basic.
Change the WiFi Settings on the Flextronics DNA A211 I
This takes you to the page you can see here. Use the box labeled SSID to enter a new name for your network. This is used for your network identification. It's not really important what you enter here, but we recommend avoiding personal information. Learn more by reading Wireless Names Guide.
Click the Save/Apply button.
Next, click the option of Advanced.
This takes you to a page like the one you see here.
Here you can change the Channel. Make sure to use channel 1,6, or 11. To learn why, click this link.
Click the Save/Apply button.
Next, click the option in the left sidebar labeled Security.
This takes you to the page above.
Use the Select SSID drop-down list to choose the SSID you created earlier.
Next is the Network Authentication. We suggest using the security option of WPA2-PSK.
A little farther down the page is the box titled WPA Pre-Shared Key. This is the password you use to connect to your network with this router. Create a strong password of at least 14-20 characters. Don't forget to use a mix of symbols, numbers, and letters in this password. Read more about password creation by clicking this link.
If you want to change the encryption technique this router uses for your wireless transmissions, use the WPA Encryption drop-down list to choose from AES, TKIP or both. We recommend AES because it is the strongest and newest form of encryption.
That's all there is to do, just click the Save/Apply button.
Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
