How to Reset the iBall iB-LR6111A

Have you been trying to login to the iBall iB-LR6111A router unsuccessfully? It might be time to consider a reset. A reset is not the same thing as a reboot. When you reboot a router you cycle the power to the unit. When you reset a router you take all the settings and return them all to factory defaults.

Warning: Be careful when you reset a router. We suggest making a list of possible settings that may of been changed in the past. Some of these include:

  • The router's main username and password.
  • IP addresses you have changed in the past.
  • Any port forwarding you have created.

While the router is on, take a straightened paperclip and press down on the reset button for at least 5 seconds. If you don't hold this button down for over 5 seconds you end up only rebooting the router instead of resetting it so be aware.

Warning: Do not unplug the router during the reset process. You could and probably will permanently damage your iBall iB-LR6111A router.

Don't forget that this reset is going to erase all the settings you have ever changed on this device. We strongly recommend trying other troubleshooting methods first.

Login to the iBall iB-LR6111A
