Have you tried to login to the LevelOne WBR-6001 router without success? It might be time to consider a reset. A reset like this is not the same thing as a reboot. When I use the term reboot I am referring to a simple cycle in power to the device. When I use the term reset I am referring to a full factory restore of all settings. This means every setting you have ever changed is erased and returned to how it was when you bought the router new.

Warning: Resetting this router is a big step. Please don't take this lightly. We strongly recommend making a list of all the settings you have ever changed in the past. These settings include the:

  • The router's main username and password.
  • The Internet SSID, encryption and password.
  • If this happens to be a DSL router you need to re-enter the Internet Service Provider (ISP) username and password. Call your local provider for these details.
  • Write down any other changes you can think about. These could include anything from port forwards or IP addresses.
