Find Your Netgear DGN1000 Router IP Address

We need to find your Netgear DGN1000 router's internal IP address before we can log in to it.

Choose an IP address from the list above and then follow the rest of this guide.

If later on in this guide you do not find your router using the IP address that you pick, then you can try different IP addresses until you get logged in. I will not hurt anything to try different IP addresses.

Choose an internal IP Address using one of the above methods and then try to login to your router.

Login to the Netgear DGN1000 Router

Your Netgear DGN1000 is managed through a web-based interface. The way you manage it is by using a web browser like Firefox, Edge, or Chrome.

Enter Netgear DGN1000 Internal IP Address

Type the internal IP address that you picked above in the address bar of your web browser. Your address bar should look something like this:

Press the Enter key on your keyboard. You should see a window asking for your Netgear DGN1000 password.

Netgear DGN1000 Default Username and Password

You need to know your username and password to login to your Netgear DGN1000. Just in case the router's username and password have never been changed, you may want to try the factory defaults. Below is a list of all known Netgear DGN1000 default usernames and passwords.

In the window that pops up, enter your username and password. Keep trying them all until you get logged in.

If your password is correct then you will be logged in and see the Netgear DGN1000 home screen, which looks like this:
