Find Your Netgear R7000 Router IP Address
Before you can log in to your Netgear R7000 router, you need to figure out it's internal IP address.

Start with the first IP address in the list and then follow the rest of this guide.
If the IP address you picked does not seem to work, then simply try a different one. It is harmless to try different IP addresses.

The next step is to try logging in to your router.
Login to the Netgear R7000 Router
The Netgear R7000 is managed through a web-based interface. You can manage it by using a web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.
Enter Netgear R7000 Internal IP Address
Type the internal IP address that you picked above in the address bar of your web browser. The address bar will look like this:
Press the Enter key on your keyboard. You should see a window pop up asking you for your Netgear R7000 password.
Netgear R7000 Default Username and Password
In order to login to your Netgear R7000 you are going to need to know your username and password. It's possible that the router's password is still set to the factory default. Try all of the Netgear R7000 factory default usernames and passwords below.

Put your username and password in the appropriate boxes. Keep trying them all until you get logged in.
Netgear R7000 Home Screen
After you get logged in you should see the Netgear R7000 home screen, which looks like this:
When you see this screen, then you are logged in to your Netgear R7000 router. At this point, you can follow any of our other guides for this router.
Solutions To Netgear R7000 Login Problems
Here are some things that you can try if you are having problems getting logged in to your router.
Netgear R7000 Password Doesn't Work
Perhaps your router's default password is different than what we have listed here. You should try other Netgear passwords. Head over to our list of all Netgear Passwords.
Forgot Password to Netgear R7000 Router
If your Internet Service Provider supplied you with your router, then you might want to try giving them a call and see if they either know what your router's username and password are, or maybe they can reset it for you.
How to Reset the Netgear R7000 Router To Default Settings
As a last resort, you can reset your router to factory defaults. If all else fails and you are unable to login to your router, then you may have to reset it to its factory default settings.
