Find Your Netgear WGE101 Router IP Address

We need to find your Netgear WGE101 router's internal IP address before we can log in to it.

Choose an IP address from the list above and then follow the rest of this guide.

If you do not find your router's interface later in this guide, then try a different IP address. Keep trying different IP addresses until you find your router. It should be completely harmless to try different IP addresses.

Choose an internal IP Address using one of the above methods and then try to login to your router.

Login to the Netgear WGE101 Router

Your Netgear WGE101 is managed through a web-based interface. The way you manage it is by using a web browser like Firefox, Edge, or Chrome.

Enter Netgear WGE101 Internal IP Address

Either copy/paste or type the internal IP address of your Netgear WGE101 router into the address bar of your web browser. The address bar looks like this:

Press the Enter key on your keyboard. You will see a window asking for your Netgear WGE101 password.

Netgear WGE101 Default Username and Password

You must know your Netgear WGE101 username and password in order to log in. If you are not sure what the username and password are, then perhaps they are still set to the factory defaults. Here is a list of all known factory default usernames and passwords for the Netgear WGE101 router.

Put your username and password in the appropriate boxes. You should be able to try them all.

When you get logged in you should be at the Netgear WGE101 home screen, which looks similar to this:

If your ISP provided your router, then you may have to call them to get your login information. They will most likely have it on file.
