Login To The Sagemcom Fast 3284
To get started configuring the Sagemcom Fast 3284 WiFi settings you need to login to your router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Find the WiFi Settings on the Sagemcom Fast 3284
If you followed our login guide above then you should see this screen.
This guide begins on the Home page of the Sagemcom Fast 3284 router. To start out click the Wireless option near the top of the page. From there click WiFi Setup in the left hand sidebar.
Change the WiFi Settings on the Sagemcom Fast 3284

Start off by making sure that Wireless is Enabled.
Next you'll need to create a Network Name (SSID). This will serve as your network identification and can be whatever you want. However it's a good idea to avoid any personal information due to security reasons. For more information check out our Wireless Names Guide.

Make sure the WPA/WPA2 Encryption is set to AES.
Lastly you'll need to set a Key. This will be your network password and can be anything you like. However keep in mind that a strong password consists of 14-20 characters and should not include any personal information. That's it! You're finished. Just be sure to click Apply to save your changes before closing the page.
Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
