This guide starts on the Home page of the Technicolor TG799vac router. Begin by clicking the Wi-Fi icon near the top of the page. From there click the tab labeled 2.4GHz.

Change the WiFi Settings on the Technicolor TG799vac

After that set the Security Mode to WPA2-PSK. This option will provide you with the strongest security. Check out our WEP vs. WPA Guide for more information.

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
