ASUS makes the RT series of wireless routers, the ROG Rapture gaming routers (GT series), ZenWiFi mesh systems, and DSL modem routers (DSL-AC and DSL-N). Almost all of them run the same ASUSWRT firmware, so once you know one ASUS router you know them all.

The ASUS Interface
ASUSWRT (RT-N, RT-AC, RT-AX, GT, ZenWiFi and DSL models) opens on the Network Map. The left-hand menu has a General section (Network Map, AiMesh, Guest Network, AiProtection, QoS and more) and an Advanced Settings section (Wireless, LAN, WAN, IPv6, VPN, Firewall, Administration, System Log, Network Tools). Click Apply at the bottom of each page to save.
Very old ASUS routers (the WL-500 and WL-520 series) have a different, simpler interface, but the menu names are similar.
Default ASUS Login Details
You can reach any ASUS router at http://router.asus.com. Most use the IP address 192.168.1.1, and newer ones use 192.168.50.1. Older models use admin / admin. Newer routers make you create your own login during setup. See the ASUS passwords and ASUS IP address pages.
