Have you been trying to login to the Belkin F9K1105v2 router and not been able to? It might be time to consider a reset. This is not the same thing as a reboot. When you reboot a router you cycle the power to the device. When you reset a router you take all the settings and return them all to factory defaults. This means all your personal data is erased.

Warning: Resetting this device is a big step in trying to fix a problem. I strongly suggest trying other methods of troubleshooting before you continue. It's also a good idea to make up a list of all the possible settings that could change because of the reset. This include:

  • The router's main username and password.
  • The WiFi information such as SSID, encryption and Internet password.
  • Is this a DSL router? You need to re-enter the Internet Service Provider (ISP) username and password to continue using the Internet. Call your local provider for the exact details.
  • What other settings have you changed in the past? Make sure to write all of these down as well.
