Login To The Billion 5102G
To get started configuring the Billion 5102G WiFi settings you need to login to your router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Find the WiFi Settings on the Billion 5102G
If you followed our login guide above then you should see this screen.
This wireless setup guide begins on the Status page of the Billion 5102G router. To start out, click Interface Setup and then Wireless below that.
Change the WiFi Settings on the Billion 5102G
You should be taken to a new page.
Begin by setting an SSID. This will serve as your network identification and can be anything you like. However, we strongly recommend that you avoid any personal information due to security reasons. For more info on this topic, be sure to see our Wireless Names Guide.
Following that, open the drop down list marked Channel ID and select either 1, 6, or 11. To learn why these are the best options, take a look at our WiFi Channels Guide.

The Encryption needs to be set to AES.
Lastly, enter your desired network password into the box labeled Pre-Shared Key. This can be whatever you want, however, keep in mind that a strong password consists of 14-20 characters and contains no personal information. That's it! You're done. Just don't forget to click APPLY before closing the page.
Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
