Configure your Computer to Have a Static IP Address
Port forwarding the Cradlepoint CTR350 to your computer can be more reliable if you first configure a static IP address on your computer. We have instructions to setup a static IP address for Windows 7, Windows 8, and a variety of other devices on our Static IP Address Settings page.
Please note that while setting up a static IP address on your computer is optional, it is still a very good idea to go ahead and do it. In the long run it will make your port forward much more reliable.
Login To The Cradlepoint CTR350
To get started forwarding a port you need to login to your Cradlepoint CTR350 router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Forward a Port on the Cradlepoint CTR350 router
Find The Port Forwarding Section of the Cradlepoint CTR350
You begin on the Device Info page of the Cradlepoint CTR-350 router. To forward a port, click the option at the top of the page labeled Advanced. A new menu now appears on the left side of the screen, from this menu, pick the option of Gaming.
Configure the Port Forwarding section of your Cradlepoint CTR350
Now to forward a port, make the following changes:
- First, place a check mark in the box titled Enable.
- In the box labeled Name, enter the name of the program you are forwarding these ports for. This is not a crucial step to the process, but for your future reference.
- The next box is the IP Address. Every computer in your local network has it's own LAN IP address for identification, enter the specific LAN IP address you are forwarding these ports to.
- Enter the ports you are forwarding in the TCP Ports box, and the UDP Ports box. They can be entered in a range form, 80-100, a list, 22,28,223, or even a combination of both, 80-100,22,28,223
- From the Inbound Filter drop down menu, choose the option of Allow All.
- In the Schedule drop-down box, pick the option of Always.
- Click the Save button.

Test if Your Ports are Open
Now that you have forwarded ports on the Cradlepoint CTR350 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
