This page will show you how to setup a port forward on the EnGenius ESR9350 router.

Configure your Computer to Have a Static IP Address

Port forwarding the EnGenius ESR9350 to your computer can be more reliable if you first configure a static IP address on your computer. We have instructions to setup a static IP address for Windows 7, Windows 8, and a variety of other devices on our Static IP Address Settings page.

Please note that while setting up a static IP address on your computer is optional, it is still a very good idea to go ahead and do it. In the long run it will make your port forward much more reliable.

Login To The EnGenius ESR9350

To get started forwarding a port you need to login to your EnGenius ESR9350 router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Forward a Port on the EnGenius ESR9350 router

Find The Port Forwarding Section of the EnGenius ESR9350

Once you have finished logging into the EnGenius ETR9350 router you will see a page like the one seen here. To create a port forward on this router click the option in the blue sidebar labeled Advanced.

This will open up a new set of options at the top of the page. Click the one labeled Port fw.

Configure the Port Forwarding section of your EnGenius ESR9350

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

Once you have been directed to the page seen here make sure the Enable Port Forwarding box is checked.

Now enter the name of the program you are forwarding ports for in the Description box. This can be anything you like but we suggest entering something that will remind you of why you forwarded this port.

Below that is the Local IP. In this space enter the IP address of the computer you are forwarding these ports to. For example if I was forwarding a port to my game console I would enter the game console's IP address here.

Next is the Protocol. Use this drop down list to choose the type of protocol you need to use to forward this port.

You can now enter the port you want forwarded in the Local Port box and the Public Port box. Enter the same port number in both boxes.

Click the Add button to add this port forward to your list of current port forwards.

Finally click the Apply button to save your changes.

That's it, congratulations you forwarded a port.

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports on the EnGenius ESR9350 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
