This guide will walk you through the steps to resetting the Intellinet 3G 375G router. A reset like the one on this page is different than a reboot. When you reboot a router you are only cycling the power to the device. When you reset a router you take all the settings and return them all to factory defaults.
Warning: This reset is a big step and should be treated as such. We recommend creating a list of any settings you may of changed in the past. Some of the more common settings are:
- The router's main username and password.
- The Internet name and password.
- If this is a DSL router you need to re-enter the Internet Service Provider (ISP) username and password. You need this to use the Internet again. Call your ISP for the details.
- Any other settings such as port forwards or URL filters are all erased.

Use a VPN
Have you considered using a VPN when you connect to the internet? A VPN is a great way to increase your security and anonymity while surfing.
We use and recommend NordVPN because not only is it the fastest VPN, it includes a new feature called Meshnet that makes securely sharing your home network super simple. With NordVPN Meshnet, you can connect to your devices from anywhere in the world, completely secure, over a highly encrypted VPN tunnel.
When shopping for a VPN, make sure that they meet the following criteria:
- Your VPN provider should have a no-logs policy. This means that they do not keep any logs of any kind.
- Make sure that your VPN provider has lots of exit nodes all around the world.
- Check that your VPN will not affect your speed.
- Verify that your VPN provider uses WireGuard as the underlying protocol.
- Many people prefer a VPN provider that is not based in the United States.
This is the list of requirements that we used when we were shopping around for a VPN provider. There are lots of free, shady VPN providers out there that we looked at and dismissed.
Based in Panama, using diskless servers, and with over 6,100 servers in 61 countries, we can safely say that NordVPN satisfies all of these requirements.
Once you've set up your NordVPN account on multiple computers and enabled Meshnet, you can seamlessly access all of your devices as if they were on the same network. You don't even have to log in to your router. It's very simple.
Every time you click on one of our affiliate links, such as NordVPN, we get a little kickback for introducing you to the service. Think of us as your VPN wingman.
Below is an image of the back panel. I have circled the reset button for you in the image below.
While the router is on take a straightened paperclip and press down on the reset button for at least 10 seconds. If you don't hold the reset button down for at least 10 seconds you will simply turn on the WPS function. Find out what this is in our What is WPS guide.
Warning: Do not unplug the router during the reset. If you do you may permanently damage the device.
Remember a reset like this one is going to erase every single setting you have ever changed in the past. We strongly recommend trying other methods of troubleshooting before you decide to reset.

After you've reset your Intellinet 3G 375G router we suggest logging into it. This is done by using the factory default username and password. These can be found in our Login Guide.
Tip: Defaults not working for you? It could be because the reset button wasn't held down for long enough.
Change Your Password
Once you've successfully logged into your router you'll want to set a new password for it. This can be anything you want it to be, however bear in mind that a strong password contains no personal information and is 14-20 characters in length. For more help be sure to take a look through our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.
Tip: Avoid losing your new password by writing it on a sticky note and putting it on the underside of your router.
