Picking a WiFi channel is not always a simple task. Be sure to read about WiFi channels before making the choice.
Encryption

Login To The Pace Plc 4111N-030
To get started configuring the Pace Plc 4111N-030 WiFi settings you need to login to your router. If you are already logged in you can skip this step.

Find the WiFi Settings on the Pace Plc 4111N-030
If you followed our login guide above then you should see this screen.
This wireless guide starts on the Home page of the Pace-Plc 4111N-030 router. Click the option of Settings at the top of the page. Then beneath that choose LAN and finally Wireless.
Change the WiFi Settings on the Pace Plc 4111N-030
This takes you to the page you see here. In the Network Name (SSID) box enter the new name you want to use for your network. It really doesn't matter what you enter here but we recommend avoiding personal information.
Below that in the drop-down box labeled Wireless Channel, make sure you are using channel 1,6, or 11.
Now scroll down to the section titled Wireless Security. In the box labeled Authentication Type choose the best option for your network. We recommend WPA2-PSK (AES).
Next, highlight the radio button titled Set custom encryption key. Then in the box given, enter a new password for your network. This should be strong, we recommend using at least 14-20 characters including symbols, numbers, and capital letters.
That's all that needs to be done, simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click the option of Save.
Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings
After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
