Login To The Zhone 6519-A2

This wireless setup guide begins on the Device Info page of the Zhone 6519-A2-NA-0cc router. Start out by clicking Wireless located in the left hand sidebar, and then Basic.

Change the WiFi Settings on the Zhone 6519-A2

This takes you to a new page.

Here you'll enter your desired SSID into the given box. This will serve as your network identification, and can be anything you like. However, we highly recommend that you avoid any sort of personal information. For more on this topic, check out our Wireless Names Guide.

That's all for this page. Click Apply/Save when you're finished.

From here, click Security on the left hand side of the page.

You should now be on the page you see above.

Scroll down until you come to the Manual Setup AP heading, and then open the drop down menu labeled Select SSID. Select the SSID you just created.

Now you need to set a WPA Passphrase. This can be anything you like, however a strong passphrase consists of 14-20 characters and includes no personal information. For more helpful tips like these, check out our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.

Finally, make sure that the WPA Encryption is set to AES.

When you're happy with these settings, click Apply/Save.

Congratulations! You're done.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
