Reset the ZyXEL P 330W EE

This is the reset guide for the ZyXEL P 330W EE router. This is not the same thing as rebooting a router. Rebooting a router is simply turning it off and back on again. A Router Reset completely erases the router and returns it to factory settings.

Warning: Make sure that you fully understand the following before resetting your router. The following settings in your router will be changed:

• The router's login credentials are reset to factory defaults.
• All WiFi information such as network name, password, and authentication method are erased.
• Any ISP settings saved in your router will be removed. You may have to contact your ISP.
• Any parental controls, firewall settings, or port forwards will be removed.

Since a router reset is such a drastic step, it should only be done as a last resort when you cannot recover your router's password using any other methods. Before you reset your router, you may want to try recovering your router password with our Router Password Finder.

Recover Password in ZyXEL P 330W EE

Reset the ZyXEL P 330W EE

There is usually a small reset button located on either the back or the bottom of a router. Most reset buttons look like this:

Your reset button may look different, but usually they are very small. Sometimes the reset button is under a pinhole on the back of the router, and you need a paper clip to push it.

Hold the reset button down for about 10 seconds while watching the lights on the front of your router. Notice how the lights on the front of the router are blinking. When the lights do something different, the router is reset. It is harmless to hold the reset button too long.

Remember, this will erase everything you have previously done to this ZyXEL P 330W EE router.
