Login To The ZyXEL P 330W EE

This wireless setup guide begins on the Status page of the ZyXEL P-330W-EE router. To start configuring your wireless settings, click Wireless located in the left hand sidebar. Then below that choose Basic.

Change the WiFi Settings on the ZyXEL P 330W EE

Start out by setting an SSID. This will be your network name and can be anything you like, however we recommend avoiding any personal information. To learn more, see our Wireless Names Guide.

Be sure to click Save when you're happy with these settings.

Now click the option labeled Security on the left hand side of the page.

Following that, be sure that the WPA Authentication Mode is set to Personal (Pre-Shared Key) and the WPA Cipher Suite is set to AES. The WPA(Pre-Shared Key) Format needs to be set to Passphrase.

Lastly, a password needs to be set. A strong password consists of 14-20 characters and contains no personal information. Enter your desired network password into the box labeled WPA Pre-Shared Key. For tips on creating a strong password, read our Choosing a Strong Password Guide.

And that's all there is to it. Just make sure to click Save before closing the page.

Possible Problems when Changing your WiFi Settings

After making these changes to your router you will almost definitely have to reconnect any previously connected devices. This is usually done at the device itself and not at your computer.
