Find The Port Forwarding Section of the Belkin F5D8233-4

When you're finished logging into the Belkin F5D8233-4v3 you are taken to the Status page. This page has a list of links running down the left side of the page, find and click the choice labeled Virtual Servers which is right under Firewall.

Configure the Port Forwarding section of your Belkin F5D8233-4

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

You are now on the correct page. Place a check mark in the Enable box.

Enter the program name or something else that helps you remember why you are forwarding these ports into the box labeled Description.

If you are forwarding a single port, enter that number into the box labeled Inbound port and the box labeled Private port. If you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the range in both of these boxes. Write it with the lowest number first, ad dash, then the highest number, for example, 22-34.

In the drop down menu, labeled Type, choose the type of protocol you are going to use for your port forwards.

Next is the Private IP address. Enter the IP address you are forwarding these ports to.

After clicking Save and Apply Changes, you are done, congratulations!

Test if Your Ports are Open

Now that you have forwarded ports on the Belkin F5D8233-4 you should test to see if your ports are forwarded correctly.
