You have already logged into the Belkin F5D7234-4v5 and are on the Status page of this router. The first step to forwarding a port is click the choice on the left side of the page labeled Virtual Servers.

Now to forward a port, make the following changes:

You should now be on the proper page to forward a port. First, put a check in the Enable box.

Next is the Description. Enter the name of the program you are forwarding ports for in this box. It really doesn't matter what you enter in this box, but it would be a good idea to enter something that helps you remember why you are forwarding these ports.

Enter the port number you are forwarding into the boxes labeled Inbound Port and on the far right the Private Port.

Under the Type drop down menu, choose the type of protocol you want to use to forward this port.

Last is the Private IP address. Enter the IP address of the computer you are forwarding this port to. For example if you are forwarding this port to run a program on your computer, make sure you enter that computer's IP address in this box.

Click Apply Changes and you are finished. Congratulations!
